Alien: Isolation Dev working on ‘a brand new first person tactical shooter IP’

Dark Light

Creative Assembly has been keeping quiet since releasing Alien: Isolation, in 2014, but some job listings point to a tactical shooter.

The developer has mainly been focusing on its successful Total War series, but the listings on Creative Assembly’s website state:

“Creative Assembly’s award-winning team behind Alien: Isolation are exploring new frontiers with a brand-new and exciting First Person Tactical Shooter IP.”

It’s interesting the listing references the Alien: Isolation team, who worked on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC horror title. Could this new IP have a survival horror leaning?

Neither Creative Assembly, nor publisher Sega, have made any official announcement on the new title.

The last rumblings from the studio were way back in 2015, when another job listing stated:

“We are seeking a talented programmer has thorough experience developing a range of online features. We are creating another multi-platform AAA blockbuster and the successful applicant will be part of a team which allows our game experience to be shared.”

Hopefully we will hear more on this new project soon.
