Nintendo Switch racer, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, gets free DLC based on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Nintendo has just dropped a free new content update for the Nintendo Switch mascot-racer, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The DLC induces items taken from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Champion’s Ballad DLC, namely the Master Cycle Zero vehicle, and the blue Champion’s Tunic costume.

The update also includes the Legendary Ancient Tyres and Paraglider parts that can be used to customise your kart.

The DLC is the second addition to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in as many weeks. The game recently received a free update adding compatibility with the Nintendo Labo motorbike kit.

In a recent video, Nintendo’s head of software development, Shinya Takahashi, indicated that the game will continue to get more content, saying:

“There will be further updates for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, so please look forward to it.”

Let’s hope there’s even more to come.
