Bubble Bobble 4 Friends gets its long-awaited Nintendo Switch release in North America at the end of March.

Fans of the classic Taito arcade game in the US and Canada can finally relax. Bub and Bob are back! Publisher Inin Games has confirmed that Bubble Bobble 4 Friends is getting a physical and digital release on March 31, 2020.

Taito’s modern update of the classic arcade game was first released for Nintendo Switch in Europe and Australasia late last year, where it received a warm critical welcome.

The game introduces a four-player co-op mode to the series for the first time and includes 100 all-new levels to tackle. Longtime fans will be pleased to know that the game also includes Taito’s original coin-op version of Bubble Bobble, which also includes 100 levels.

The digital version of Bubble Bobble 4 Friends will be available from the Nintendo eShop. The physical edition will be available from video game retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop.

A physical collectors edition – which comes with some exclusive trading cards, a poster, and two keychains – is also available from Strictly Limited Games.
