Gearbox confirms that the Nintendo Switch is getting its own special version of Bulletstorm.
Gearbox announced a bunch of things on stage at Pax East yesterday, including a new version of 2011 shooter Bulletstorm for the Nintendo Switch.
Currently slated for a summer release, Bulletstorm: Duke of Switch Edition includes the full single player campaign, the Gun Sonata and Blood Symphony DLC, and its Duke Nukem add-on. You can’t have everything we suppose.
Originally developed by People Can Fly and Epic Games, the game was only a modest success upon its original release, but it developed a cult following over time. The updated Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition was released for current-gen consoles and PC in 2017. It’s not entirely clear if the Nintendo Switch version will be based on the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 original, or the remastered version.
Borderlands 3 announced
In case you missed it – and just as our patience was wearing thin – Gearbox also confirmed that Borderlands 3 exists with an official reveal trailer. Take a look.
Our sizzling hot take: It looks bigger and bolder, but strangely old-fashioned. Gearbox promise more details on April 3, 2019.
