Crackdown 3 reportedly delayed until 2019
Microsoft has reportedly once again delayed Crackdown 3, the Xbox-exclusive open-world action-adventure, to 2019.

Microsoft has reportedly delayed Crackdown 3, the Xbox-exclusive open-world action-adventure, to 2019.
First reported by Kotaku, the news of the delay comes from anonymous sources close to the project. This was then corroborated by Eurogamer.
This new Crackdown has been delayed a number of times now. Microsoft originally revealed it at E3 2014, and was supposed to have released it in 2016.
Then, after another delay it was due out in November of 2017; then Microsoft delayed it again to Spring 2018. And now this last delay takes us to 2019.
There are a number of studios involved in Crackdown 3’s development. Reagent Games and Ruffian Games, both studios that worked on the original game for the Xbox 360. And Sumo Digital, the studio behind Snake Pass and Dead Island 2.
It’s a pretty big blow to Microsoft’s exclusive line-up. First Scalebound was cancelled, and then Fable Legends. Perhaps the giant has something planned for E3 next week to soften the blow – a new Forza seems likely.
