Crash Bandicoot 4 tops the UK video game charts following a close run contest with Star Wars: Squadrons
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time has narrowly taken the top spot in the latest chart of boxed video games in the UK. The franchise’s first mainline game in two decades pips the EA Motive’s acclaimed Star Wars Squadrons to No.1 by a mere 1000 physical copies, according to GI.biz.
Last week’s No.1, Super Mario 3D All-Stars, falls two places down the chart to No.3. Animal Crossing: New Horizons is resident at No.4 for a second week.
Marvel’s Avengers looks like showing some staying power, despite falling to fifth in the chart, and Minecraft Dungeons holds steady at No.7. The top ten is propped up by the 2K crime duo, Mafia: Definitive Edition and Mafia Trilogy.
Further down the chart, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate returns to the top forty at No.29, following the announcement that Minecraft’s Steve is coming to to the game later this month. The physical release of Untitled Goose Game enters the chart No.34.
