Divinity: Original Sin 2 – Definitive Edition gets Arena Mode revamp

Divinity: Original Sin 2 – Definitive Edition is getting an all-new Arena Mode when it comes to console later this month.

Bandai Namco has announced that the upcoming console release of Larian Studios’ wildly well-received RPG, Divinity: Original Sin 2, will include some significant changes,

Larian have completely revamped the game’s Arena Mode to now include solo gameplay, online multiplayer PVP, and a pass-the-controller Hot Seat mode. It will also feature 16 playable characters, with some – such as Malady, Zandalor, and Radeka – available for the first time.

The classic Deathmatch and Kill the King modes are playable on 13 optimised maps, five of which are brand new to the Definitive Edition. Also introduced are the game changing Mutators, which can grant skills or mix up the parameters of battle mid-game.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 – Definitive Edition will be released on August 31, for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
