Farming Simulator 18 is coming to Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita this June.

Giants Software’s popular farming franchise returns to portable consoles next month, with Farming Simulator 18 set for release on June 6, 2017.

The handheld edition of the game features a new Southern US environment with multiple crops to harvest including, wheat, canola, corn, sugar beet, potatoes, and, sunflowers. There’s also a new addition to the game’s livestock options, with the humble pig joining series stalwarts, sheep and cows. And, for the first time, forestry comes to the Nintendo 3DS version of the game.

As with the PC and home console versions of Farming Simulator 18 there is a range of officially licensed vehicles and machines to obtain. These include products from world-renowned manufacturers such as Challenger, Fendt, Massey Ferguson and Valtra.

To mark the release date announcement, publisher Focus Home Interactive has released a brand new trailer detailing some of the delights in store.

Considering the modest horsepower of the PS Vita – and 3DS, particularly – Giants look to have ported a substantial amount of the gameplay experience featured in PC and home console editions of the game.

Farming Simulator 18 will be released on June 6, 2017 for Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita. The game will be available at retail, and for digital download via the Nintendo eShop and PlayStation Store.
