Farming Simulator 19 is free on the Epic Games Store until next Thursday.

Looking for Stardew Valley, but with fewer emotionally unavailable broody boys and more heavy machinery? Look no further than this week’s Epic Games Store freebie.

Farming Simulator 19 is the second most recent entry in the long-running series of agriculture-’em-ups. Developed by Giants Software and published by Focus Home Interactive, the game lets you harvest crops and tend to animals in American- and European-themed environments.

Farming Simulator 19 includes more than 300 vehicles and machines (including the John Deere tractor featured in this pretty E3 trailer). It’s also got a bunch of photorealistic animals for you to tend to, if you’re a fan of animal husbandry.

But, if you prefer tending to major urban centres suffering from outbreaks of deadly diseases – and we can’t think why that could possibly be on your mind at the moment – then next week’s offering may be more appealing. Beginning on February 6, Epic Games Store users can grab digital versions of Pandemic, (and the less deadly) Carcassonne and Ticket to Ride.
