Arc System Works and PQube are celebrating Guilty Gear’s 20th Anniversary with some Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 reissues.

To mark 20 years of the Guilty Gear franchise, video game publisher PQube is bringing the original Guilty Gear, and Guilty Gear XX Λcore Plus R, to the Nintendo Switch in a two game bundle.

The Guilty Gear 20th Anniversary Edition will get a physical release, and both games will be available to download separately via the Nintendo eShop.

Guilty Gear – which was released on the original PlayStation in 1998 – will also come to the PS4 via the PlayStation Store.

Designed by artist Daisuke Ishiwatari, Guilty Gear is widely considered to be one of the all-time greats of the fighting genre. Its characters, graphics, and rocking soundtrack won instant acclaim, and it spawned a long-running series.

PQube say that both games will be released in spring 2019. We’ll let you know as soon as we get a confirmed launch date.
