Horizon Zero Dawn, Breath of the Wild, and PUBG lead the nominees for the 21st DICE Awards.
The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) has announced the nominees for the 21st DICE Awards.
The games featured in main categories of this year’s awards are as familiar as you would expect. Breath of the Wild, PUBG, Super Mario Odyssey and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy all receive multiple nominations, and Horizon Zero Dawn gets a well-deserved nod in ten categories.
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice and What Remains for Edith Finch are both nominated for Outstanding Achievement in Story. Elsewhere, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle goes up against XCOM 2: War of the Chosen in the Strategy Game of the Year category. And Nintendo Switch launch title Snipperclips, and Jason Roberts’ wonderful Gorogoa, are both nominated for the DICE Sprite Award.
The winners will be revealed at the DICE Awards ceremony on February 22, 2018 in Las Vegas.This year’s ceremony will be co-hosted by Greg Miller, co-founder of Kinda Funny, and Jessica Chobot of Nerdist News.
