The Monster Hunter: World x The Witcher crossover gets February release date

Dark Light

The Monster Hunter: World x The Witcher collaboration is set for release in early February.

Capcom has announced via Twitter that the special collaboration with CD Projekt Red to bring Geralt from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to Monster Hunter: World is dated for release as a free game update on February 8, 2019.

The event will offer new quests that will feature apparently blend the gameplay styles of both games. Capcom has previously confirmed that the voice actors for Geralt have also recorded new dialogue for the crossover, and that Geralt will be available as an outfit for your character.

At the time of writing the event is only dated for release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but Capcom has promised that it will come to the PC at a later date.

Additional Monster Hunter: World content is also planned for release this autumn in the shape of Iceborne, a new expansion that will feature new quest ranks, locales, monsters, moves, gear and story.
