Darksiders and Hob headline this week’s lineup of new eShop releases for the Nintendo Switch.
It’s another good week for older games on the Nintendo Switch, with a cult classic and an overlooked gem among the highlights.
Darksiders Warmastered Edition is an enhanced remaster of the 2010 hack and slash adventure from Vigil Games. There have been plenty of opportunities to play the game over the years – it even came to the Wii U – but if you missed it, and are looking for a Zelda-style adventure, it comes highly recommended.
A game we like even more is Hob from Runic Games, makers of Torchlight. Originally released for the PlayStation 4 in 2017, its quality was overshadowed by the studio’s sudden closure. It’s a truly excellent adventure that also channels the Zelda series, and comes to Nintendo Switch with some gameplay improvements, HD rumble, and touch-screen support.
Other games to check out include AngerForce: Reloaded and Bow to Blood: Last Captain Standing.
Here’s the current roster of upcoming Nintendo eShop releases. Stay tuned, we’ll likely be adding more titles over the next few days.
