Monster Hunter Rise and Balan Wonderland headline this week’s lineup of new Nintendo Switch eShop releases.
The long-awaited release of Monster Hunter Rise is our pick of this week’s Nintendo Switch lineup. The game’s recent demo was impressive, indicting that Capcom is continuing to balance accessibility for newcomers and complexity for long-term fans.
We also get to sample the first fruits from Sonic creator Yuji Naka’s partnership with Square Enix. Unlike Monster Hunter Rise, the recent demo of Balan Wonderland was not so well received. The game appears pleasingly bizarre, but we’re not sure that will be enough to make it a success.
Our last pick is El Hijo – A Wild West Tale, a charming spaghetti-western stealth game from HandyGames.
