This week’s new Nintendo Switch eShop releases include two remastered RPG classics and a new arena fighting game from Bandai Namco.

Pick of the week is the new double pack of Langrisser I & II remasters. The original Mega Drive games arrive on Nintendo Switch with updated graphics, a re-orchestrated soundtrack, and a bevy of other tweaks and updates. They’re also coming to PS4 and Xbox One.

Crazy Monkey’s Hidden Through Time is another promising release. The hand-drawn graphics certainly make it one of the most beautiful hidden object games we’ve ever seen. However, it’s the map editor that has us really excited. Players can create and share their levels, as well as download puzzles from other creators around the world.

Also worth a look is Inbento, the food-themed puzzle game from 7Levels. This blissful mix of pussy cats and bento boxes was a mobile hit and a perfect fit for the Nintendo Switch.

Other new releases include Half Past Fate, Neo City Riders, and Bandai Namco’s new anime fighting game, My Hero One’s Justice 2.

Here’s this week’s lineup of new Nintendo Switch releases.

We have a favour to ask

Thumbsticks has a couple of main aims. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
