New Nintendo Switch eShop releases

Saints Row: The Third and Shakedown: Hawaii lead this week’s lineup of new eShop releases for the Nintendo Switch.

There’s a good week ahead on Nintendo Switch for players wanting to build criminal empires. Tuesday sees the release of Shakedown: Hawaii, Brian Provinciano’s long-awaited follow-up to Retro City Rampage.

Later in the week the Third Streets Saints bring chaos to the city of Steelport in a port of Violation’s Saints Row: The Third. It’s not the best game of its type, and its narrative often treads a very fine line, but it’s good to see another open world action game come to Nintendo’s console.

Elsewhere, Puyo Puyo Champions gives the Nintendo Switch another welcome puzzle game at an equally welcome budget price.

Other new releases include IronOak’s ambitious RPG, For The King, and Onevision’s vibrant platformer, Ascendance.

Here’s the full lineup of new Nintendo eShop releases. We’ll add more games as they are confirmed throughout the week.
