A slender lineup of new PlayStation 4 and PS Vita releases packs a punch on the PlayStation Store this week.

The biggest PlayStation 4 release of the week is Granblue Fantasy: Versus, a new fighting game spin-off from the Granblue Fantasy RPG series. The game includes an impressive roster of fan favourite characters – hello Ladiva, Lancelot, Ferry and Zeta – with more to come via future paid DLC. The game’s multiplayer component is complemented by an interesting side-scrolling single-player mode.

Fans of Japanese fighting games should also take a look at Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late [cl-r]. The third major update for French Bread’s game includes new moves and more than one thousand balance changes.

Other new releases include the Warlords of New York expansion for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, and third-person hero shooter, Holfraine.

And if you’ve ever found a candy golem in the basement, you’ll surely relate to the yarn spun by visual novel Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet.

Update: March 3

As an extra treat this week, a demo of the Final Fantasy VII Remake has been made available. It features around three hours of gameplay from the beginning of the game, which releases proper on PS4 on April 10, 2020.
