The upcoming lineup of new PlayStation Store releases includes two PS5 upgrades and a genre-bending visual novel.

PlayStation 5 owners have two updated games to look forward to, starting with Doom Eternal. The reasonably fun demonic shooter gets a free next-gen upgrade that adds improved visuals, 4K60 performance, and an optional 120 FPS mode.

GreedFall – the cult action RPG from Spiders – comes to PS5 as a Gold Edition that includes new content, improved loading and visuals, and a 60 FPS performance mode.

The week’s other notable new release is Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!. The updated version of Team Salvato’s acclaimed visual novel includes new HD artwork, additional music tracks, and six new side stories. If a heady mixture of romance, poetry, and psychological horror sounds appealing, this is definitely a game to experience.

Other new PS4 and PS5 games include Curved Space, Onrike, and arcade classic, Raiden. Here’s the full release lineup.

We have a favour to ask

Thumbsticks has a couple of main aims. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
