Publisher Bandai Namco has released details of three upcoming expansions for Level-5 RPG, Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom.
The first release will be an Adventure Pack that will be free to download for all players. The pack adds new bosses and quests, plus additional floors to the Faraway Forest that will reward players with new costumes for Evan and other characters.
The second DLC pack is set for release this winter and will include a whole new dungeon. The third will be released in early 2019, and features a brand new story expansion, and well as unannounced new content and features.
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom was released in March this year, and although the dramatic change in structure was a something surprise to fans it won people over despite its rough edges. In our review, Josh Wise said the game was “a perfectly serviceable JRPG, with an addictive Kingdom-building component.”
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is available now for Playstation 4 and PC.

Thumbsticks has a couple of main aims. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. But it's difficult to make ends meet in online publishing at the moment, so if you'd like to help us continue our work, you could always buy the team a cup of coffee.
