Get ready for news of new Switch games in the Nintendo Direct E3 2019 broadcast.

Despite a change in leadership at Nintendo of America, we don’t expect much to change with Nintendo’s E3 strategy this year. In April’s Financial Results Briefing, the company said:

“We plan to continue our practice of the past few years, which is to release a video presentation discussing the games that are planned for release during the fiscal year, provide hands-on opportunities, and so on.”

This means a Nintendo Direct E3 2019 broadcast on the morning of June 11, 2019, followed by three days of exclusive Nintendo Treehouse content.

We expect that Nintendo’s presence at E3 will again be focused on one key title, and our prediction is the new Animal Crossing game for Nintendo Switch. Now that’s a booth we look forward to visiting.

Other confirmed Nintendo Switch games that could make an appearance at E3 2019 include Luigi’s Mansion 3, Super Mario Maker 2, and the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening.
