Here’s the full rundown of this week’s Nintendo eShop releases for Nintendo Switch, 3DS, and Wii U.
The week’s big release is Nintendo’s new Switch fighting game, Arms. Although it received a muted reception upon its January unveiling, Arms has since won over a legion of fans with its sparky character design, and surprisingly deep gameplay. Positive reviews – and a solid showing during the recent Global Test Punch – indicate that Nintendo has another hit on its hands, well, arms.
Also released on Switch is Mighty Gunvolt Burst, Inti Creates’ sequel to their enjoyable 2014 3DS hit. The new game retains the original’s retro art style, but adds HD rumble as characters from the Azure Striker Gunvolt and Mighty No. 9 universes come together.
Nintendo didn’t reveal any extra goodies at this year’s E3 Showcase, but should things change we’ll update this page as soon as possible.
