Looking for new Switch and 3DS video games to play? Here are this week’s Nintendo eShop releases for Nintendo Switch, Wii U and 3DS.
Nintendo has so far done an excellent job over ensuring the Nintendo Switch gets a big first party release every month. Following on from Arms, we now have the return of Nintendo’s first person paintballing franchise with Splatoon 2.
Reviews have been positive, with the game appearing to be a solid evolution for the series, albeit with a few caveats around some of its online features. Speaking of which, Splatoon 2 is the first Switch game to take advantage of the new Nintendo Switch Online App, which is available around the world right now.
Also coming to Switch this week is Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star, and Cave Story+. The latter may be a little long in the tooth, but it remains a defining and timeless indie experience. If you haven’t played it before, it’s an essential purchase, despite the extortionate price.
Here are this week’s eShop releases. We’ll add full EU pricing details as soon as we get them.
