Pokémon Crystal, Celeste, and Lost Sphear lead this week’s lineup of eShop releases for the Nintendo Switch, 3DS and Wii U.
It’s another busy week on the Nintendo eShop, with a high quality selection of old and new games coming to the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS.
There are two Switch titles that attract the eye, starting with Tokyo RPG Factory’s Lost Sphear. The studio’s follow-up to 2016’s I am Setsuna may have had a rough demo, but we remain hopeful that the final product will expand and improve on the studio’s welcome brand of old-school RPG adventuring.
Also coming to the Nintendo Switch is Celeste, a new platformer from Matt Thorson, creator of the wonderful TowerFall. A tough but rewarding challenge is promised.
Other Switch games in the mix include Portal-like puzzle game ChromaGun, Shu, and Tachyon Project.
And over on 3DS, there’s a Virtual Console release for Pokémon Crystal. A download code also available at retail that comes packaged in a retro-style game box.
