Here’s the full rundown of this week’s Nintendo eShop games for the Nintendo Switch, 3DS, and Wii U.
It’s another good week on the eShop, with ten titles coming to Nintendo’s three console platforms.
The Nintendo Switch lineup is led by Nippon Ichi’s tactical RPG, Disgaea 5 Complete. The game was originally released on PlayStation 4 in 2015, but based on our time with the demo, it seems like a natural fit for the Switch. It’s a buttery smooth port, and another well-chosen game that plays to the strengths of the platform.
Also coming to the Switch is Capcom’s Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers, an updated version of 1994’s Super Street Fighter II Turbo. The well put together package features the original’s pixel graphics, as well as alternative HD visuals. It also includes a needless “Way Of the Hado” first person mode, but let’s not dwell on that. It’s not cheap for what it is, but – like Puyo Puyo Tetris – it’s a game that is perfect to have close at hand for ad-hoc multi-player Switch gaming.
Over on 3DS we have the return of the Cooking Mama series with Cooking Mama: Sweet Shop, plus the beautifully titled I am an air traffic controller – Airport Hero Narita.
As well as Darksiders Warmastered Edition, Wii U devotees can pick up two new GBA Virtual Console releases: Rayman Advance and Rayman 3.
