Here’s your weekly round-up of Nintendo eShop game releases for the Nintendo Switch, 3DS and Wii U.
This week’s big release is the much-anticipated Nintendo Switch version of EA’s FIFA 18. Despite the omission of the Frostbite-powered The Journey story mode, the game promises to offer the full FIFA experience. I certainly enjoyed the kickabout I had at this year’s E3.
Also released this week is the first of Hamster Corporation’s Nintendo Arcade Archive releases. This faithful port of Mario Bros supports local multiplayer, and features new online leaderboards.
The Picross series also makes its Switch debut in the shape of Picross S from Jupiter. The studio’s 3DS games were all excellent, and their first Switch title includes 300 Picross and Mega Picross puzzles, plus simultaneous multiplayer for two players.
