Here’s this week’s lineup of Nintendo eShop games for Nintendo Switch, 3DS, and Wii U.
Art in Heart’s procedurally-generated platformer, Gonner, comes to the Nintendo Switch this week. The gruelling – but fun – Roguelike has been a critical and popular hit since its initial PC release, and makes its console debut on Nintendo’s new box of tricks.
It’s joined by another platformer, WayForward’s Shantae: Half-Genie Hero. The Kickstarter-backed adventure was first released on Wii U, PS4 and Xbox One in 2016, and continues the Shantae series in style. There’s no reason to expect the game will lose any of its charm in the transfer to Switch, and we hear it’s also gained some nifty HD rumble enhancements.
Farming Simulator 18 brings all the fun of the farm to the Nintendo 3DS. This year’s edition includes all-new forestry gameplay, as well as the usual array of crops, livestock, and officially licensed vehicles to play with.
Elsewhere, CoderChild’s Cubit The Hardcore Platformer Robot jumps from the 3DS to the Wii U. If you bought the game first time round, you’ll be able to get a discount on the new HD edition.
