Iconoclasts and Picross S2 lead this week’s lineup of Nintendo eShop releases for the Nintendo Switch, 3DS, and Wii U.
We have two recommendations from this week’s bumper line up of Nintendo eShop releases. First up is Picross S2, the second picture crossword puzzler from Jupiter to come to the Switch. The new game features multi-part puzzles that combine to tell a story, but apart from that, it’s just more Picross. (And that’s a good thing, in case you were wondering.)
Also recommended is 2D action platformer, Iconoclasts. Designed by Joakim Sandberg, the game balances exploration, enemy combat, and puzzles with aplomb. It’s occasionally tough – particulary when it comes to boss battles – but the story keeps things moving at a rewarding clip.
Other Switch releases include action RPG, Salt and Sanctuary, bullet-hell shooter, State of Anarchy, and music marble game, Road to Ballhalla. And finally, WarioWare Gold gets its US release on Nintendo 3DS.
