This week’s lineup of new Nintendo Switch releases includes Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

We doubt that a port of the Nintendo Wii version of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed was high on many wish lists. The 2008 original didn’t compare to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions, despite some cool (for the time) motion controls.

Nonetheless, developer Aspyr has done an excellent job with the Star Wars franchise. We really liked Episode 1 – Racer and Republic Commando, and the Switch version of Knights of the Old Republic is the best available. Maybe the studio can give Starkiller’s Wii adventure a much-needed spit and polish. If not, we recommend the recent released Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, which runs great on Switch.

This week’s other Nintendo Switch releases include Neptunia x Sentan Kagura: Ninja Wars, MotoGP 22, and Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles.
