In case you missed it, here is the updated list of this week’s new Nintendo Switch eShop releases. It features a cult-classic and two cool golf games.

The remaster of PlatinumGames’ The Wonderful 101 is one of this week’s Nintendo Switch highlights. First released on Wii U in 2013, the game has its fans – as shown by its recent Kickstarter success – but it wasn’t a hit. The new version is a modest upgrade on the original, but it should bring this chaotic and colourful game to a much larger audience.

Meanwhile, we have an intriguing battle on the golf course.

First up is What the Golf? from Triband. Creative director Tim Garbos is behind one of our favourite smartphone games, Progress to 100, and that same level of freewheeling creativity is on display in this “golf game for people who hate golf.” On Switch, the game gets a new party mode for two players.

Next to tee off is Golf With Your Friends from Blacklight Interactive and Team17. It’s a slightly more traditional mini-golf experience that includes local multiplayer support for up to 12 players. It also features a range of colourful and inventive themed courses, including one based on the Worms series.

Other new Switch games include Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus, The Persistence, and realMyst: Masterpiece Edition.

Update: May 21 – Journey to the Savage Planet, the sci-fi comedy adventure from Typhoon Studio, has also been announced for release this Thursday.

Here’s the full lineup of new Nintendo eShop releases. We’ll keep this page updated throughout the week with any last-minute changes.
