Mario Party Superstars and Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water headline this week’s lineup of new Nintendo Switch eShop releases.
We’ve always found the Mario Party franchise to be somewhat hit and miss. Hopefully, that means that Mario Party Superstars – which remakes over 100 mini-games and brings back some classic Nintendo 64 boards – will be the perfect party pastime. And unlike 2018’s Super Mario Party, it’s fully playable across all Nintendo Switch models.
The long-awaited remake of the Wii U survival horror game Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water is another new release highlight.
Other new Nintendo eShop games include the cloud version of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Stubbs the Zombie, and the delayed arrival of Doctor Who: The Edge of Reality.
The Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack is also released this week. It features an initial lineup of 23 classic Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis games, including Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
