Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Vampyr headline this week’s spooky lineup of new eShop releases for the Nintendo Switch.
Of all the games acknowledging Halloween this week, it’s Luigi’s Mansion 3 that promises the spookiest adventure. Next Level Games return to the series following their excellent work with Luigi’s Mansion 2 on Nintendo 3DS. Expect chills, thrills and belly laughs.
A darker tale can be found in Dontnod Entertainment’s Vampyr. It’s a game we quite liked when it debuted last year. Saber Interactive – who recently worked wonders with the Switch version of The Witcher 3 – are on porting duties.
Capcom also continue their work in bringing the Resident Evil franchise to Switch. The fifth and sixth entries arrive this week but we’d recommend beginning with some of earlier games, all of which are currently on sale.
Other new releases include Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and the Lion King, Xeno Crisis, and Disgaea 4 Complete. And there is some new monster-themed DLC for Pinball FX3.
