Fallout 4 PC requirements announced

Banish the January blues with a free weekend trip to Massachusetts, via Fallout 4 on Xbox One.

Bethesda’s openworld RPG is getting its second free play event on Xbox One. The game is now free to download and play for all Xbox Live Gold Members until 11:59pm PST this Sunday.

Of course, a weekend won’t give you anywhere near enough time to explore Fallout 4 to its fullest, so the game is also receiving a range of discounts to encourage players to continue their vacation. All achievements and progress made during the free play weekend will be saved and carried over.

It’s also a good release for Xbox One X owners to try, with the game’s 4K graphical overhaul receiving plaudits from professional pixel counters.

The standard edition of Fallout 4 is now available on the Xbox One Games Store with a 33% discount. The Game of the Year Edition receives a 40% price cut, and the Fallout 4 Season Pass is reduced by a healthy 50% .
