Bluehole announce deal to stream exclusive PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds content on Facebook Live.

Starting on Monday July 10 at 7pm PDT – that’s today, fact fans – Bluehole will begin weekly livestreams of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds gameplay on their Facebook Page.

Each livestream will showcase a different element of the game, and will begin today with games hosted by Bluehole’s community managers. Future broadcasts will alternate hosts between content creators from the PUBG fan community, and Bluehole’s community team.

Chang Han Kim, VP and executive producer at Bluehole, said:

“This new initiative with Facebook will bring our passionate fan base closer to our development team. Livestreaming has been very important to the growth of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. We believe that featuring PUBG livestreamers on Facebook further strengthens our commitment to the community while extending the reach of our game to a global audience.”

Leo Olebe, director of global games partnerships at Facebook, liked this:

“Facebook and the Bluehole team have a shared belief in the power of gaming communities, and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is a stunning example of a hit game guided directly by its fans. Battleground is just as much fun to watch as it is to play, and we’re excited to see some of the best PUBG creators bring exclusive content to Facebook to help fuel its growing community on the platform.”

You can tune in – do people still tune? – today, and every Monday from 7pm PDT at www.facebook.com/playbattlegrounds
