Sony confirms the free video games available to PlayStation Plus subscribers in July 2021.

This month’s PlayStation Plus lineup continues the service’s run of big-name games. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is the headline act and is available to PS4 and PS5 users. In case you have forgotten, CODBLOPS4 is the one without a full-fledged single-player campaign. It does, however, feature a generous roster of multiplayer maps, the fan-favourite Zombies mode, and the Blackout battle-royale mode, which remains popular some two and a half years after release.

PS Plus subscribers can also grab WWE 2K Battlegrounds, the horrible cartoon-like wrestling game from Saber Interactive. The least said about it, the better.

Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown is a much more appealing prospect for combat enthusiasts. It remains available on PS Plus until August.

Finally, the upgraded next-gen edition of A Plague Tale: Innocence is available for PS5 owners. Asobo Studio’s action-adventure survival game has become a minor classic due to its distinctive setting and first-class rat avoidance stealth mechanics.

All three titles will be available to download for PlayStation Plus members from July 6, 2021.
