Dark Light

Here’s our roundup of this week’s new PlayStation Store releases for the PS4 and PS5.

Our recommendations from this week’s batch of PlayStation Store releases are new versions of older games. First up is the PlayStation 5 edition of Auto Chess. Improvements to the hit strategy game include haptic feedback via the DualSense controller, improved load times, and polished visuals.

PlayStation owners are also the first to experience ZA/UM’s award-winning RPG, Disco Elysium: The Final Cut. This updated version of the game includes new voice acting, four quests cut from the original release, and a host of quality of life improvements. It’s also available as a free upgrade for existing owners of the game.

Finally, co-op RPG shooter Outriders arrives this week. There’s something refreshingly old school about People Can Fly’s game, and we can see it finding an audience. It’s also worth noting that the game will also be joining Xbox Game Pass on release, so if you have an Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One, it might be better to play it there.

Other new PlayStation releases include C14 Dating, Narita Boy, and Acalesia. We’ll update this post throughout the week with any late additions. Here’s the full PlayStation Store release lineup.
