Tales of Arise and Life is Strange: True Colors headline this week’s lineup of new PlayStation Store releases for the PS4 and PS5.

A busy week for new PS4 and PS5 releases begins with the release of Sonic Colours: Ultimate. It’s a beautiful (if occasionally glitchy) update to the hit 2010 Wii platformer. Despite its age, the game is still one of Sonic’s finest 3D adventures.

We’re also pleased to see quirky puzzle adventure The Touryst finally make the trip to PlayStation, and we’re also excited to revisit an old XBLA favourite in Toy Soldiers HD.

Other new releases include Bandai Namco’s new roleplaying game, Tales of Arise, and Deck Nine’s Life is Strange: True Colors.

Here’s the complete lineup of new PlayStation Store releases. We’ll update this page throughout the week with any late additions.

We have a favour to ask

Thumbsticks has a couple of main aims. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
