Here’s the third official trailer for Rockstar’s Wild West sequel prequel, Red Dead Redemption 2.
We don’t have much to say about this one, other than it’s blooming marvellous. There are a few glimpses of what looks like gameplay – check out that shove to the ground – but this third Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer is predominantly focused on character, story, and setting.
Rockstar provide a little more context in a blurb released alongside the trailer:
“After a robbery goes badly wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee. With federal agents and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive. As deepening internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart, Arthur must make a choice between his own ideals and loyalty to the gang who raised him.”
And is that John Marston we spy having a spot of bother?
Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on October 26, 2018 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
