Return of the Obra Dinn, Lucas Pope’s mysterious tale of death and insurance adjustment, is coming to Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 very soon.
The Obra Dinn will arrive on three new platforms on October 18, 2019, developer Lucas Pope has confirmed.
Armed with nothing more than a notebook and a compass – albeit one with some rather magical powers – Return of the Obra Dinn casts the player in the role of an East India Company insurance investigator who must uncover the truth behind a ship’s missing and deceased crew mates.

The game was first released on PC and Mac in 2018 and won numerous awards and plaudits from critics and players. Console versions were recently confirmed and footage from the Switch edition debuted on last month’s Nintendo Direct. The port is being handled by Warp Digital.
