Online game creation tool, Roblox, has now reached 90 million monthly active users.
According to developer and publisher, Roblox Corporation, players and creators also spend more than 1 billion hours a month creating and sharing their experiences.
The news comes as the platform adds support for French and German, and makes 150 of the most highly regarded Roblox experiences available in the two languages.
President of Roblox International, Chris Misner, says:
“Roblox is where anyone can unleash their creativity and have fun with their friends, no matter where they live. By bringing top games and resources to French and German audiences, we’re uniting the next generation through a truly global platform for play.”
Roblox creator, Ski Resort, who is based in Germany, adds:
“With the tools and resources Roblox provides, I’m able to reach more players across the world. I am especially happy to have Ski Resort available in my native German language and hope it inspires more developers and players in Germany to be a part of the Roblox community.”
An addition to French and German, Roblox is also available in English, Portuguese, Korean, Spanish, plus simplified and traditional Chinese. Support for more for languages will be added in the coming months.
