Psyonix has confirmed that the Rocket League ‘Progression Update’ will be released next week.
The Progression Update retools Rocket League‘s progression system (can you believe it?) including in-game XP. The new approach will remove the current level cap, and also reduces the amount of XP required to level up.
The update’s most anticipated new addition is probably the new Clubs feature, which lets players band together and compete online as a proper team. Each Club can have up to 20 members. Psyonix will be revealing more details about Clubs in the coming week.
A week after the update, a new limited-time unlock system called Rocket Pass will also be added to the game.
New achievements, trophies, and quality of life tweaks are also in the mix.
Rocket League is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
