Sonic Mania, and some other less good Sonic the Hedgehog games, get discounts of up to 75% in the latest Humble Store sale.
Sonic has always felt like a summer video game franchise to me. It’s mostly due to spending those long hot school holidays of my youth playing Sonic on the Mega Drive, but the music and bright colours also make it a perfect series to enjoy at this time of year.
The latest Humble store sale is discounting eight classic Sonic the Hedgehog titles until Monday July 9, 2018.
Pick of the bunch is a 25% price cut for the marvellous Sonic Mania, the 2017 collaboration between Team Sonic, Christian Whitehead, Headcannon, and PagodaWest that presents a mix of classic and new levels in HD at 60FPS.
Also included in the sale are Sonic Generations, Sonic Adventure 2, and the much-maligned Sonic the Hedgehog 4. Here’s the full lineup.
