Rebellion takes aim at a release date for Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition on Nintendo Switch.

Rebellion has announced that Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition will be released for the Nintendo Switch on October 1, 2019. The game is getting a physical release at retail, and will be available digitally via the Nintendo eShop. Pre-orders open from September 17, 2019.

The release includes every piece of DLC the game received on other platforms and exclusive new features such as local wireless multiplayer. The full campaign will be playable in two-player local co-op, as will the Overwatch and Survival modes. Competitive multiplayer will support up to four players.

The Nintendo Switch edition also supports gyroscopic motion controls and HD rumble. Take a look at the release date trailer to see the game in action.

Sniper Elite 3 received mixed reviews when it debuted in 2014 but the game quickly became a cult-favourite, going on to sell around 750,000 copies worldwide.
