The latest Xbox Free Play Days event includes multi-vehicle racer The Crew 2 and sci-fi sandbox game, Trailmakers.

Ubisoft’s The Crew 2 is currently free on Xbox One as part of this weekend’s Free Play Days event. Released last year, The Crew 2 features a huge open world to explore on land, sea and air. It’s a decent enough game that in our review, we called “a knockabout arcade racer with the capacity to make you smile.”

Since then, the game has received a torrent of updates, adding new modes, vehicles, events and customisations. You can probably add at least half a star to our score.

Trailmakers, the physics-based sandbox racer from Flashbulb Games, is also free this weekend. Players can create their own vehicles – from cars and choppers to boats and hovercrafts – to race solo or with friends.

Both games are free to download and play for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members until the stroke of midnight on December 8, 2019. All progress and achievements earned can be carried over to purchased copies of both titles. As luck would have it, both The Crew 2 and Trailmakers are currently discounted on the Xbox One Digital Games store.
