Dark Light

Private Division and Obsidian Entertainment have announced a release date for sci-fi RPG, The Outer Worlds.

Obsidian Entertainment opened yesterday’s Xbox E3 2019 media briefing with a new trailer and a confirmed release date for The Outer Worlds. The game is available to pre-order now and will launch on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4 on October 25, 2019.

The Outer Worlds promises to a be a dark but humorous player-driven story set in the distant edges of the galaxy. As well a number of spectacular locations to visit – as seen in the spectacular new trailer – the game’s story will change based on how players progress their character.

Speaking about the game, Obsidian’s Allen Murray says:

“Obsidian has such a great history when it comes to creating exceptional single-player RPGs. The Outer Worlds is unmistakably an Obsidian game, delivering an experience rich with dark humor, interesting characters, and plenty of player agency.”

Take a look at the game in more detail in the lovely new E3 trailer.
