Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 is coming to next-gen consoles and the Nintendo Switch.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 was one of the highlights of last year. The accomplished remaster from Vicarious Visions updated two classic games with considerable style and an appreciation of what made the original versions so special. In our review, we said the two-game pack was “a fantastic return to form for the beloved series.”

That appreciation and attention to detail paid off handsomely, and the game reached one million copies sold faster than any other title in the series.

That success looks set to continue, with Activision confirming that the game is coming to next-gen Xbox and PlayStation consoles in March and the Nintendo Switch later this year.

On Xbox Series X and PS5, the game will run at 120 FPS at 1080P, or 60 FPS in native 4K. Xbox Series S owners can play the game at 1440P and upscale to 4K. Details of the Switch version are scant, but the port looks solid in early B-roll footage.

The game also features faster loading times and cross-generation save progression on PS5 and Xbox SeriesX|S. Plus, there’s support for the PS5’s haptic DualSense wireless controller

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 lands on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on March 26, 2021.
