Discounts are permitted in the new Xbox One Assassin’s Creed sale.
If you don’t know your Arno from your Ezio, now’s the time to dive into Ubisoft’s sprawling series with the new Xbox One Assassin’s Creed sale.
The new promotion is offering discounts of up to 80% on a swathe of games and DLC from the long-running open-world franchise, include sizeable price drops on the highly-acclaimed Assassin’s Creed Origins and Odyssey.
If you’re not au fait with the newer games in the series, you should check out our review of Assassin’s Creed Origins, the game that took the series back to its (literal and metaphorical) roots in Ancient Egypt. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is basically the same core game, but with additional role-playing elements. The enormous world spread across the archipelagoes of Ancient Greece also borrows ship combat from Black Flag.
If you want our opinion, though? Assassin’s Creed 2 is still the best one – yay Ezio! – but we also liked Syndicate more than most. It’s probably a London thong.
Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered is also a notable inclusion, as the original version is included as part of February’s Xbox Games with Gold lineup.
