Xbox Games with Gold

Microsoft has announced the free games coming to Xbox Games with Gold in October 2018.

After a few disappointing months, October’s Xbox Games with Gold lineup offers quite a bit to enjoy.

Pick of the bunch is Ghost Town Games’ chaotic cooking game, Overcooked!, which comes to Xbox One from October 1, 2018. The game needs little introduction, but if you’ve held back from picking it up, don’t miss this opportunity.

It’s joined on October 16 by the standard edition of Victor Vran, the cult action RPG from Haemimont Games.

Meanwhile, the Xbox 360 gets the 2005 action racer, Stuntman: Ignition, and IO Interactive’s 2006 stealth ’em up, Hitman: Blood Money. Both games are playable on Xbox One via the wonder of Back Compat, and both also make me feel completely ancient.

Xbox Games With Gold – October 2018

Xbox One

  • Overcooked! – October 1 to 31
  • Victor Vran – October 16 to November 15

Xbox 360 and Xbox One

  • Stuntman Ignition– October 1 to 15
  • Hitman: Blood Money – October 16 to 31

You can still download two games from September’s Games with Gold lineup. Prison Architect and Sega Vintage Collection: Monster World are both available until the end of the month.
