Microsoft has announced the four titles coming to Xbox Games with Gold in January 2021.
The highlight is Little Nightmares, the spooky 2017 adventure from Tarsier Studios. In our review, we said: “the character design and art style make you feel as though you’ve popped a tab of acid onto your tongue and gone on a boating trip with Ralph Steadman.” Sounds like fun, right?
Next up is the 2016 port of the original Dead Rising. We expect the game remains an enjoyable diversion, although much of its pleasure will depend on your appreciation of its 72-hour in-game time-limit.
Next month’s back compat titles are the Xbox 360’s The King of Fighters XIII and Namco’s 2004 Xbox action game, Breakdown. Hold back that enthusiasm, dear reader.
January’s Games with Gold titles will be available to download and keep for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members from the following dates.

Of last month’s free games, Saints Row: Gat out of Hell, Stacking and The Raven Remastered are available until the end of the month. Bleed 2 is available until January 15, 2021.
