Team Sonic Racing and Dauntless headline the list of new Xbox One releases for May 20-24, 2019.

It’s been a tricky few weeks for the blue blur, but Sega’s hedgehog mascot appears to be back on top form in Team Sonic Racing. The Sumo Digital-developed kart racer is getting positive reviews, with critics praising the team-based racing system, track design, and vehicle customisation options.

Fans of Monster Hunter – or perhaps those daunted by Capcom’s franchise – should check out Dauntless, a new free-to-play action RPG from Phoenix Labs. It’s a beautifully stylised co-op creature killer that exits a long period in early access along with the launch of its Season 5 Hunt Pass.

Also released this week is PS1-style survival horror game, Back to 1995, and Fission Superstar X, a sci-fi roguelite from the wonderfully named Turbo Pelvis 3000 inc.

All of next week’s games can be downloaded from the Xbox One digital store, or via the Microsoft online store. Here’s the full lineup.
