Here’s the full lineup of video games heading to the Xbox One Games Store between 28th August – 1st September, 2017.

It’s a busy week on the Xbox One Digital Store with 17 new releases, or is that 16?

Perhaps the biggest release of the week is not a new release at all, with Studio Wildcard’s massively multiplayer online survival game, Ark: Survival Evolved, officially leaving the Xbox Game Preview program.

Other new/old games coming to the Xbox One this week include the remastered version of Resident Evil: Revelations, the console version of popular PC RPG Pillars of Eternity, and the definitive – or should that just be finished – edition of ReCore.

Also released this week is episode 1 of Life is Strange: Before the Storm, zombie FPS Dead Alliance, and Rock of Ages 2: Bigger & Boulder, the sequel to the enjoyable 2011 tower-defence game.

We hate to ask, but...

Thumbsticks has a couple of goals. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough to meet those goals! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
